The Swedish-German author, director and artist Peter Weiss is one of the most important cultural figures and intellectuals of the 20th century. Born in Germany, he came to Sweden as a Jewish refugee in 1938. He would have turned 100 today. Nadja Weiss is an established actor in Sweden and is part of the Royal Dramatic Theatre’s ensemble. In recent years she has directed a number of critically acclaimed productions, both at the National Swedish Theatre and Stockholm City Theatre.
